Hi mannyman59, I am not sure what error message you are receiving as there is no attachment. My guess is you are seeing an error message about the Matrox Utils version? You will need to disable the User Account Control (UAC) in Windows in order to start Lightworks with Matrox drivers installed, this is a known issue we hope to have resolved shortly. Below are instructions for disabling UAC in Windows 7/Vista.
Click the Windows start button (bottom left hand corner of your screen). Type: UAC into the Search box at the bottom and a list of results will appear. Click 'Change User Account Control settings'. On the panel that opens, drag the slider all the way to the bottom (Never notify) and click OK. Restart the system. I've downloaded the installer several times, 124MB. I've used Firefox to download.
If i try and open right after install I get the Matrox error. If I restart then open I get the sentinel key error.
I turn off the firewall and virus protection. I am very, very frustrated. I paid for the pro version and so far it's been a waste of time and money. You guys want $600 for tech support, you have to be kidding. Is it possible to get a refund or do I have to chalk this up to live and learn.
